Having your preschoolers help out around the house is super important.
It’s a great age for you to start laying the foundation down so that when you want to talk about responsibilities and taking care of things as your kids get older, they’ll be able to understand you better.
Plus – at this age, preschoolers usually think it’s fun to help Mommy around the house.
Because of that, it’s not really even that hard to get them to do their chores. (So no excuses!)
You might even get your kids their very own helper apron, smock, or special hat that they wear only when it’s chore time. Make it a game and your kids will love it.
Chore charts for preschoolers should be interactive and simple.

Note: You’ll get 2 pages of information with that download. One page is the chart. The other page is a grid with the chores that you cut out and have your child paste to the chart.
But for a better understanding of how the chart can be used, make sure you read this part too:
Click here to to find out how the mom who made this Preschool Chore Chart uses it with her 3-year-old daughter…
Something to think about before you use the chart though…
What’s your goal in using the preschool chore chart?
Do you want your kids to have lots of experiences? Or do you want them to be consistent in doing a few things?
If it’s important to you that your kids have a variety of chores and experiences and you want to list lots of chores on the chart, that’s fine. Just don’t have your kids do them every day. Skip days in between and stagger the chores throughout the wee
If you want your kids doing daily chores, limit it. Don’t have them doing 9 a day. I’m a fan of having your kids keep track of just one chore on a chore chart. But depending on the intensity of the chore, keep it under 5 for sure. You don’t want your kids rebelling about the chores because you’re putting too much pressure on them to get lots done everyday.
Think about it ahead of time, and make sure you choose an appropriate number of chores to put on the chart. Then start using it with your preschooler and have some fun together!

How many words can your kids make out of the letters in the phrase “Happy Thanksgiving?”
This is a great Thanksgiving activity that your kids or students can do alone or in teams.
For younger kids, let them find words that have a few as 2 letters in them. Words like: is, an, in.
For older kids, you can challenge them to look for words that have 4 or more letters in them like: tank, hang.
You’ll find instructions printed at the top of the page, but don’t let them hold you back from finding creative ways to use this Thanksgiving activity sheet. The whole point is to have some holiday fun.
If you like word games like I do, you might print one out and fill the whole thing out by yourself when you have some down time.
And if you come up with a cool way to use this Thanksgiving activity, leave a comment and share it with us…

Can your kids unscramble these popular Thanksgiving words?
Have your kids work in teams or on their own…
Don’t worry, the PDF comes with the answers so there’s no need for your kids to squabble over the answers.
For older kids you can time them to see who does it the fastest.
If your kids go through this Thanksgiving activity quickly, have them think of some more words that they can scramble up and then give each other to unscramble.
Enjoy!

How many words can your kids make using the letters in the phrase:
VALENTINE’S DAY?
Each letter can only be used as many times as it is in the phrase already.
So they could find the word: NEED (because there are 2 e’s)
But not the word: TALL (because there’s only one l.)
This Valentine’s Day Activity is great for kids of all ages because they can work in pairs…or they can work individually and find words with just one letter in them (like “a”) or many letters like: “DENTAL”
